Nurses

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.
Sister Gill Cooper (f)
As a qualified Nurse Practitioner, Sister Cooper can examine patients at an advanced level, diagnose and treat as appropriate, including issuing prescriptions. She has a particular interest in Diabetes.
Sister Elizabeth Dearden
As a qualified Nurse Practitioner, Sister Dearden can examine patients at an advanced level, diagnose and treat as appropriate, including issuing prescriptions. She has an interest in Family Planning and is able to fit coils.
Sister Mary Jeffries

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
Mandy Smith
Mandy is an important and popular member of the nursing team. She does blood tests, checks blood pressure, urine tests, audiograms, ECG’s, diabetes checks, heart disease monitoring, some injections and undertakes simple dressings and removal of sutures.
Lauretta Langley (f)
Lauretta has recently joined us from Frimley Park Hospital and will be working with Mandy to provide a full range of Healthcare Assistant clinics.
